Engineering-trained on site
Our founder holds a civil engineering degree and has worked in construction since 2018. Load paths, framing, waterproofing — assessed properly, not guessed at.

Full gut-and-rebuild or a refresh — cabinetry, counters, plumbing, electrical and finishes handled by one crew.

IRL Construction is a family-run renovation company based in London, Ontario. The initials belong to our family — which is a fair way of saying our name is attached to every job we do.
Our founder earned a civil engineering degree in Brazil in 2018 and has worked in construction ever since, including four years on job sites here in Ontario. That background shows up in the details most people never see: how a load is carried, how a wall is framed, how water is kept out of a basement for twenty years instead of two.
We are not a big company, and that is deliberate. You deal with the person running your project, not a call centre. When something needs sorting out, you are one phone call from the answer.
